Our application engineering division customizes the base engine according to the machinery it will power while communicating with the R&D Center in Japan. At the R&D Center, experts certify engine quality and performance through a detailed testing program.

Customer Product Testing
After the engines pass factory testing, we work with our customers to install and test the engine on their equipment. From there, the engine and finished product undergo further testing to meet their requirements and satisfaction. During this process, customers provide our engineering team with feedback, which, if needed, the team uses to make additional design modifications and ensure the engine performs as specified for our customers.
Final Production
Once product testing and the engine installation review have been completed, approved by our customer, and certified by our engineering teams, we move to production. With a vertical approach to manufacturing, Yanmar produces the agreed-upon engines with the famous reliability customers have come to expect.
